We get it! Students may now carry checks or know their checking routing and account numbers. Now they can instantly authenticate bank accounts for ACH without microdeposits. With our seamless workflow students simple login to their bank and authorize the account. This allows them to quickly pay via ACH without any delay or hassle finding their checkbook or waiting for microdeposits.
Are All Banks Available?
We have a growing list of participating banks. This list currently includes all major U.S. banks. Participation requires a checking account. If the bank is not supported we will direct users to add their ACH payment account using a routing and account number.
Is Room Choice Secure?
Data security is of utmost importance to Room Choice. We invest heavily in securing our infrastructure in close partnership with world-class security experts. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. Room Choice's infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services.
Is there a fee for accepting ACH Payments?
Yes, this fee shows at checkout and varies based on the tenants selected payment method. Based on the payment amount, ACH Payments may have the lowest convenience fee. Regardless of how the tenant elects to pay the property receives their full amount. If the property is collecting a $500 payment the full $500 amount deposits into the company's operating account. Room Choice collects the convenience fee keeping accounting as clean and simple for the property.
